Our Commitment to Your Safety

Here at Helping Hands Child Care & Development Center we take the safety of everyone extremely serious. There are protective measures throughout our entire center. Some of our precautions are:

  • Daily Temperature checks
  • Changing of shoes from outdoor to “indoor shoes”
  • “20 second” Hand washing
  • Facial covering "required"

Upon entering the building “everyone” must get a temperature check.

Everyone that enters the building must thoroughly wash their hands for “20 seconds”.

Everyone is required to wear a face mask prior to entering the building. Face mask are worn during our day for the safety and protection of everyone.

Think Before Attending

Please do not come to the Center if you or your child is displaying symptoms of any spreadable disease: flu, virus, coronavirus/COVID, Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, RSV, common cold, or constant nose runs, coughing, or sneezing. Kindly call the Center and inform the staff after you have made alternative care arrangements.

  • What should I pack for my child?
    Clothing
    • Seasonally appropriate change of clothing: including underwear and socks.
    • Case of diapers.
    • Minimum of “2” sleeves of wipes.
    • We ask that clothing is free of complicated fastenings, zips, belts and one pieces jumpsuits/overalls. Please be reminded that we are a hands-on program and your child may participate in messy activities. Backpacks and baby bags are NOT permitted.
