Writing Is Everywhere!

Your children will also learn how to form basic shapes, letters, and numbers by using tiny stickers. They can also learn writing through rainbow writing – a writing exercise where learners retrace letters or numbers in different colored crayons or chalk. Other fun writing activities include:

  • Write or color inside bubble letters or shapes
  • Make drawings of people, animals, and objects using simple shapes (circles, squares, rectangles, triangles)
  • Write on vertical surfaces (easel, chalkboard, wall)
  • Make pretend grocery lists, menus, or recipes with drawings and spelling words phonetically
  • Write short emails, notes or cards to parents
